Zomaar een Knuffel

Het is fijn om Knuffels te geven aan iemand die je dierbaar is. Dit kan zijn om te feliciteren, te troosten, te bemoedigen maar ook om te laten weten dat je van iemand houdt. Daarom deze layout van de jongens omdat ze beide zulke mooie mannen zijn geworden, kanjers voor hun vriendinnen en voor mij.

De layout voor het Inspiratieblog van Anna Gretha design heb ik wederom gemaakt aan de hand van een sketch uit het workshoppakket tijdens een van de Scrap- & Bep Weekenden. Deze super gezellige weekenden hebben er voor gezorgd dat ik het plezier in scrappen weer terug heb gekregen.

In grote lijnen was de pagina klaar maar nog niet helemaal tevreden over de afwerking. Uiteindelijk is met verschillende stansen en de Stempelset Alfabet en Knuffels het geheel naar m'n zin geworden.

De Knuffel stempel heb ik met Stazon inkt op een stukje linnen gezet en daarna om een banner heen gevouwen.

Verder weer lekker "gespeeld" met verschillende laagjes papier, stempels, inkt, stansen, lint en embellishments.

Kaart - EKEF uitdaging #157 & Basic Grey challenges 88

Bij Elke Kaart een Feestje ook deze week weer een hele leuke uitdaging. De opdracht is om de sketch te gebruiken, met als optie het thema "shoppen".

At the Basic Grey Challenges blog it´s this time ANYTHING GOES.
I created the card with patterned paper from the "Sugared" collection.

 

Voor de kaart heb ik het dessinpapier van Basic Grey gebruikt. De rand is uit cardstock geponst en het label komt uit een vel Tilda papier. Door de geponste rand een lintje geregen en hetzelfde lint ook in de kartonnen knoop gestrikt. Het tasje is een epoxy embellishment uit oude voorraad. De rand van de kaart, label en stukje cardboard zijn aangezet met distress inkt.

Time for an update .....

It's been a while since I updated my blog. Didn't scrap for months but this is a layout which I created for a challenge at the Hobby Farm blog.

A layout about a very joyful time we had last year when the kiddos of my brother were in Holland.

Wow - I catched my 1st fish (Wow - mijn 1e vis zelf gevangen)

The journaling says:
Matt was so happy. Only to get the fish of the hook was a bit scary. Jarno and Eline helped you with this. July '11.

For this layout I used paper, alpha- and element stickers from Basic Grey, flowers, bling and letterstickers are from Prima.

April challenge

It's time for the monthly challenge at the Hobby Farm blog. This is what I created with the sketch of this month ...

My boys - just before their first ride in the sidecar, April '96.

I created another layout and rotated the sketch for this one. A beautiful b/w picture I got from my mom showing my brothers and me in the summer of 1969.
