Hoera, geslaagd!

Het is weer de eerste maandag van de maand en dus tijd voor een nieuwe challenge KnuffelChallenge072018, met als thema "Hoera Geslaagd"!

Het verhaal bij deze layout is dat Jarno in 2012 op het nippertje slaagde voor zijn HAVO-examen. Beginnen aan je eindexamen met een heel slecht gemiddelde maar door een enorme inzet toch nog je diploma halen is SUPER!!!

Voor deze layout heb ik gebruik gemaakt van heel veel oud scrapmateriaal, leuk detail is de kledingtag. Het achtergrondvel is ColorCore cardstock van Graphic45. Het uurwerkpatroon heb ik licht opgeschuurd en vond ik passend omdat de tijd voor Jarno letterlijk begon te dringen. Ook mocht ringband papier niet ontbreken. De stempel komt uit de Stempelset Knuffels.

Gezellig dat je langskwam en wil je meedoen met de challenge ... maak dan een kaart, layout, art journal pagina of een mixed media project. Alles mag! Je kunt je inzending plaatsen in de Anna Gretha design Challengegroep op Facebook of in Inlinkz onderaan in het bericht van de maandchallenge.

Card - Basic Grey Challenges 92

I used several of my favorite papers to create this masculine card for the Basic Grey Challenges blog. A little piece of paper from the "Recess" collection and the square is "Sultry".

The small blue piece of paper at the bottom is folded and then fixed with two staples.

Dutch Dare #100

Op de blog van DUTCH DARES is het feest, de 100e Dare is een feit. Om dit te vieren is er een geweldige bloghop. Leuk om een kijkje te nemen op de blogs van de DT leden en intussen alle letters te verzamelen voor het puzzelwoord. Met behulp van scrabble letters lukte het me om het woord te vinden. Het mailtje is verstuurd en dit is mijn layout voor de feestelijke 100e Dare.

Ik heb me laten inspireren door Dare #7 BEAUTIFUL MEN. Een layout met een foto van de drie mannen in ons gezin. Ik ben enorm trots op ze en het doet me heel erg goed om deze blije ontspannen gezichten te zien.

Old pictures are always a pleasure to scrap. These are from my childhood, which is a long time ago .... Me sitting in the trolley together with my youngest brother. My mom and eldest brother next to it.

Kaart - Elke Kaart een Feestje

De blog van EKEF staat al lange tijd in mijn favorietenlijst. Hoog tijd om eens mee te doen met de challenge. Eigenlijk ben ik meer een scrapper maar de laatste tijd maak ik meer kaarten dan layouts. Opdracht 152 is om een doily te gebruiken en in combinatie met het mooie papier van Graphic45 is dit het resultaat van mijn kaart.

I love the papers of Graphic45. Nice vintage papers and embellishments are great to mix and match. On this card I used an old stamp and other stuff from my stash.

February Sketch

For the challenge at the HobbyFarm blog I created a layout with a picture of our wedding day on 19-9-1991 and one taken in September 2011. It was our 20th anniversary, not a happy one but filled with sadness because DH was fighting cancer at that time and on our special day his operation was scheduled.

On this layout I used an old silhouette sheet of K&Company as a mask.

For this layout I used the following items:

Creatief met Foto's

The first week in January I got a surprising phonecall from "De Beursorganisatie". The question was if I would like to create something for Creatief met Foto's. I thought it was a joke because I knew that someone else was publishing this magazine. Anne van den Heuvel explained the situation and told me that "De Beursorganisatie" is the new publisher.

Today I posted the package with my first assignment for the magazine and hope that it is good enough to be published.

Sadly ...

I didn't made the Design Team of Graphic 45, but it's OK though. To the girls who did I want to say lots of success.

This is what I created for the final round. An altered canvas with all the items on it that are my favourite techniques and stuff to work with. So you will find flowers, buttons, bling, ribbon, lace, stitching, distress and spray ink on this hanger. However a picture of me is very unusual.

From Ira I got the Ms Bright Side award. She's also a great fan of Graphic 45 papers and creates the most beautiful projects. Hop over to her blog and take a look. Thanks for this nice gesture Ira, you really surprised me with this.
